Dusty Day raises £6,587

Dusty Day 2009 has raised a total of £6,587 for the Royal Marsden Hospital. Last year’s event raised £7,088, however I’m not at all disappointed as I expected the amount raised to be less this year

Ian Shaw added to Dusty Day bill

Ian Shaw, a vocalist Time Out calls “our greatest jazz singer”, will appear at Dusty Day 2009 on Sunday. Ian is a huge Dusty fan and asked if he could perform Dusty’s “Love Me By Name”.

The 10th annual Dusty Day will be held on Sunday April 19, 2009 in Finnegan’s Wake, Ealing.
It will be a very special day, celebrating Dusty’s life & music ten years after her passing, 40 years since Dusty In Memphis, and 30 years since Drury Lane & Royal Albert Hall concerts.
