Dusty’s friends remember Kay
It’s a year since we lost dear Kay Garner.
Kay was a one-off. She fought everyone’s corner, and ultimately fought her own.
At Dusty Day 2007 she stared fate in the face and sang Dusty’s “I Only Wanna Laugh” without a trace of irony. She meant every word.
She is remembered as a great musician, a great singer, but a greater human being. There can’t be one of us who doesn’t think of her every day.
