Pet Shop Boys take Dusty to Glastonbury
The Pet Shop Boys honoured Dusty’s memory last night by paying tribute to her in their sensational performance at the Glastonbury Festival. Following Dusty onscreen singing during What Have I Done To Deserve This? Neil called her “the legendary, wonderful Dusty Springfield”, to which the crowd responded with one of the loudest roars of the whole festival.
In 2009 at the Brits, the PSBs used Lady Gaga singing Dusty’s part on the song, a move which disappointed Dusty fans.
