February release for Springfields’ movie
The 1963 British movie It’s All Over Town, which featured two performances in colour by The Springfields is due to be released on DVD on February 1, 2010.
The film stars Frankie Vaughan, and also features The Hollies, the Bachelors & Clodagh Rogers.
The Springfields sing Maracabamba & If I Was Down And Out; their penultimate single.
Interestingly the artwork for the DVD (above) features a silhouette of the solo Dusty. They clearly know that her presence in the movie will sell it.
