Dusty Day 2008

Among the items for auction this year was something unique. It is a Pill Box with blue & green stones in enamel on brass. There is an inscription on the back "To MADELINE love Dusty". The item has been donated by Madeline Bell, and went for £450 on the day

I would like to thank the management & staff at Finnegan's Wake, Ealing Green for their generosity in leting us have the venue free, and working so hard on the day.

There are a few names who need to be credited for their hard work and contributions to the success of Dusty Day 2007:

Jonathan Cohen for giving of his talent & supplying the keyboard.

Paul O'Mara for the Artwork & Video design.

John Aitken who manned the ticket desk throughout the day when I'd promised to take over every hour!

Clive Burgess for turning the selling of raffle tickets into an art form.

Madeline Bell for not only singing but conducting the auction.

Pat Rhodes for contunuing to find Dusty items for the auction.

Kay Garner for singing so wonderfully and entering into the day in circumstances that would have made a lesser mortal decline the invitation.
